Fableform didn't start in a garage in Palo Alto. It started on set, after two decades behind the camera, and a realization that “we'll fix it in post” has become “we'll do it all in post.”
Our founders took apart VCRs as kids to figure out how the magic worked. Then they spent twenty years studying the greats from the inside. On sets, in edit bays, behind monitors.
They became DPs, directors, visual effects artists. They built LED virtual volumes and full-CG automotive spots. They learned Unreal Engine, Nuke, DaVinci, and every compositing trick in the book. They ran productions for BMW, Mercedes, Marriott, Apple, Bose, Toyota, and Bandai Namco.
When generative AI arrived, they didn't wait for permission. They started putting AI-generated shots into real commercials for Oakley, for ESPN, using their own time and their own risk when everyone else was still debating whether the technology was a threat or a toy. They won a Clio. Then they created the first fully AI-generated commercial for Adobe.
And that's when it became clear: every AI tool on the market was built for YouTubers and influencers. Not one spoke professional. Not one addressed the IP concerns of artists, studios, and production companies working with sensitive, pre-release material. There was nothing for professionals.
We realized we needed to build our own tool and give it back to the industry that gave us so much.
Films are made by departments. Casting. Locations. Art direction. Wardrobe. Vehicles. Each department maintains continuity, tracks approvals, and communicates with every other department. That's the apparatus. That's production.
No AI tool understood this. So we built one that does.
